Welcome to the first monthly Parkview neighborhood newsletter, presented by the Parkview Civic Club Outreach Committee!

Every month we’ll share news on upcoming events and PCC updates & meeting details, in addition to other neighborhood news and goings-on.

This newsletter is just one of the ways we’re trying to connect Parkview neighbors and grow the sense of community. How can you help? Right now we want more people to know about this newsletter, so please take a moment to forward this to a neighbor. Or bring it up the next time you’re talking with the house across the street. We know it’s cheesy, but it helps us immensely (and don’t worry, we’ll only use your email for neighborhood related purposes).

Got something to share with neighbors? Join our Slack for chitchat, updates, and other happenings in the area!

Why Slack, you ask? It may seem unusual, but we chose it to avoid some of the pitfalls of other platforms – like random businesses spamming us with gutter cleaning offers, among other things.

4th Annual Fall Frolic

That’s right, the Fall Frolic returns for the 4th year – November 11, 12-4pm! There will be music, food and kid’s activities, local goods, a raffle, and of course – the pie competition!

Disc Golfers: Enter the Dekalb Memorial Open and support the PCC and Dekalb Memorial Course Improvement Fund and get a meal voucher as part of your entry.

Show your Parkview Pride!

The PCC is working on new shirts, hats, and additional swag/merch for the neighborhood and we want your input! Please take a minute and vote for what you'd like to wear/stick/pin/hang/etc.

October Meeting

The Parkview Civic Club meets every second Monday of the month and everyone is welcome (even if you’re not a member)! The next PCC meeting will take place Monday, October 9th at 7pm at The Clubhouse, 353 Wilkinson Dr SE Atlanta GA 30317. Can’t make it in-person? We’ll share a link to join virtually via the Parkview Slack.
