Hello Neighbors! November seems to have flown by, so here we are with the December Parkview newsletter. First things first: next Monday we’re skipping the normal meeting and holding our annual Potluck Party! Bring your favorite festive food to share (sign up here), put on your favorite ugly sweater, and spend some time with good neighbors!

Thanks for a great Fall Frolic!

We want to take a moment to shout out everyone who came out to the Fall Frolic, helped make it happen, or contributed in any way! Despite the weather, we had a great afternoon chatting with old friends, meeting new neighbors, and eating delicious food – not to mention winning some great prizes. Plans are already in the works for next year’s Fall Frolic, so keep a lookout for a date to be announced early next year.

November Meeting Updates

For those who couldn’t make it, here are some quick highlights from the November PCC meeting (for more info, check out the full minutes):

• We now have a display case on the outside of The Clubhouse. We’ll be using it for neighborhood events and more, so be sure to stop by and check it out.
  Interested in putting something in the display case? Reach out to us - see contact info below.

• Thanks to an incredibly generous offer from a Parkview neighbor, we are very close to being able to move forward with the second stage of the Park Pride grant to add the additional elements to the DeKalb Memorial Park Playground. 

• There have been reports of troublesome potholes forming in the neighborhood. Please report these by calling (404) 297-3840.

November Meeting

The Parkview Civic Club meets every second Monday of the month and everyone is welcome (even if you’re not a member)! Due to the Potluck Party on December 11th, the next PCC meeting will take place Monday, January 8th at 7pm at The Clubhouse, 353 Wilkinson Dr SE Atlanta GA 30317. Can’t make it in-person? We’ll share a link to join virtually via the Parkview Slack.
